"Together in Quiet Light" is an original equestrian-inspired artwork by Sydney based designer and artist, Belinda Baynes.
 
A serene quiet love encompasses these two beautiful horses, in the surrounds of palms. A first type of painting for me, as I love large scale canvases, but also love the washes and looseness of watercolour, which doesn't really work with canvas. 
 
Finally I found an awesome product, Daniel Smith, watercolour ground, which, once painted on and left to cure leaves a beautiful absorbent surface like watercolour paper. I finished off the artwork, intertwining pearl and Swarovski encrusted lace and gold french lace.
 
Artwork size is 100cm x 70cm and has a 1cm timber oak veneer frame.
